Handwritten Copy of Dr Gray's Will

We were recently contacted by Graham Kyle, a retired eye surgeon and member of the British Society for the History of Medicine, who has Elgin connections. He has previously researched the funding of Dr Gray's and Andersons with respect to the East India Company, and will be using some of our website images in a poster presentation at the Society's meeting in September.

He found the images below in the British Library's collection under 'British India Office Wills and Administration' via a genealogy website, and forwarded them to us to share. They are an official copy for Probate rather than the original will, but are clearly still of historical interest.
